• Home or Away: This feature allows users to discreetly indicate their presence at home. Rather than sharing real-time location data, which can be intrusive—especially among less familiar roommates—it offers a simple status indicator. It helps others know if someone is around, whether for planning or privacy purposes, such as enjoying alone time or checking if a roommate has returned after a night out.
• Custom status: Designed to communicate personal needs clearly. For example, if you have an exam the next day and need quiet time, you can set your status to 'Busy' with a note indicating you're studying. This informs roommates of your current priorities without requiring direct confrontation.
• Crib alerts: To ensure a comfortable shared living space, this feature allows users to notify roommates about practical matters such as rent payment deadlines, household chores like dirty dishes, or everyday essentials like running out of toilet paper. It facilitates respectful and timely communication on routine issues.
